My flight to Manila was scheduled to connect in Korea, but due to tempestuous weather, the connecting flight was postponed until the next morning. This discovery resulted in panicky confusion until my lovely airline informed me that they would be providing hotel accommodations in Seoul for the night. YAAAAAAY! After sleeping almost the whole flight, I hopped on a shuttle to the Hotel June in the heart of the city. I arrived about 10pm and every building was lit up. However, I could not explore the technicolor wonderland alone as apparently my mom thought that wouldn't be safe?? (: I would have been quite disappointed about this except that the first thing I saw when I opened the door to my hotel room was a pair of little asian slippers waiting for me to slip them on and step onto the raised wooden floor. Words fail to describe the perfect asianness of my hotel room, so:
